Cold weather changing plans for Deal's inauguration

ATLANTA, GA (WTOC) - The frigid weather is shaking up plans for Nathan Deal's inauguration Monday.

The Georgia Governor-elect has called off plans for a morning prayer breakfast and a gala at The Philips Arena.

But the swearing in ceremonies for all Georgia constitutional officers will still take place inside The State Capitol.

Deal says, "It's simply best for folks to stay off the roads Monday unless necessary".

The Georgia Supreme Court has also canceled all arguments for Monday. They will resume Tuesday.
