SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Dept. are still investigating the deaths of two men at a home on the south side of Savannah on Sunday.
Officers received the call at about 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon and responded to a home off Windsor Drive, between Stillwood Drive and Deerfield Road.
Savannah Chatham police say dispatch got a call of someone seeing "squatters" inside a vacant home.
When officers arrived, they found the bodies of two men inside the house.
Violent crimes and forensics immediately cordoned off the home, searching for clues.
Neighbors were shocked by the discovery.
"It's kind of crazy when it's directly across the street. It's like a wake up call. You never know what's going on and when it's directly across the street, that's kind of close," Louis Santiago.
There is no word yet on how the two men died.
