Gov.-elect cancels breakfast and gala

ATLANTA, GA (WTOC) - Georgia Gov.-elect Nathan Deal canceled a morning prayer breakfast and a gala at Philips arena because of frigis weather.

The swearing in ceremonies for all Georgia constitutional officers will still take place inside the state capitol at 1:30 p.m.

Deal says it's best for people to stay off the roads unless necessary.

The Georgia legislature kicked off its 2011 session Monday morning.
