It may be a year away, but Georgians are not waiting to plan for every aspect of the G-8 summit.
Governor Sonny Perdue met with members of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
He spoke about the number of protesters expected to take over the hostess city. "We don't know and I don't want to speculate what they may or may not do," said Perdue. "I'm thinking they're going to come to have an audience and I want them to have an audience. But we expect them to behave in a civil manner in their discourse."
The G-8 World Summit is slated for June 8 - 10, 2004.
