Arguments spark shooting at south side business

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – An investigation continues into a shooting Tuesday afternoon at a south side business.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say Antwon Gholson, 35, was shot at about 4 p.m. at Max Custom Car Audio at 7700 Abercorn St.

Gholson became involved in an altercation with his former wife, Selma Gholson, 36, at Max Custom Car Audio when then business owner Terry Parker, 42, intervened, said Sgt. Andre Jackson of the SCMPD Criminal Investigations Division, in a statement.

Police said another altercation between the two men broke out, and Gholson was shot. Parker called police and waited for them to arrive.

Gholson was taken to Memorial University Medical Center.
