SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - First Allegiant, now another new low cost airline is setting up in Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.

The announcement is expected Tuesday from Vision Airlines. Their destination from Savannah will start out with two flights a week to Destin, Florida.

While airport airport officials would only confirm Vision Airlines is coming, they would not comment further until the announcement is made by the company and say negotiations with bigger airlines is still on going.

However, $49 each way to Destin, Florida is still appealing to some travelers we caught up with.

"Forty-nine bucks. You can't beat that. Yeah. That's a great deal," Greg Gazda told WTOC.

"It seems you have a lot of low cost airlines flying to Florida. If the consistency and passengers are there, I don't see it being a problem," another traveler said.

Vision Airlines will be making their official announcement Tuesday morning, with flights starting March 25. Visit for more information on the company.
