OSHA continues to investigate construction accident

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A worker injured in a construction accident last week has been upgraded from critical to good condition.

The accident happened on the back end of the race track on Hutchinson Island, where Myrick Marine Construction Co. and Weimar Construction Co. are doing work.

Authorities said that last Friday a pylon fell from an excavator on Hutchinson Island killing 52-year-old Greg Royer. John Pugh, 50, was injured and has now been upgraded from critical to good. OSHA is investigating the incident.
