SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Curtis Hall was killed in Savannah by gunfire just a few days ago and was remembered Saturday night by his family.
Hall's family joined others for a candlelight vigil to remember the father of five, who was just 32 when he died. The remembrance took place at the intersection of New Castle and Portland streets. The same spot where the shooting took place Thursday night. Hall was remembered as a good man with a big heart.
Many also expressed anger at the loss of life that takes place too often due to violence between gangs some saying that parents and the community need to step up and take responsibility.
"These kids want to stand out here on the corner. You stand out here behind them. They won't sell the drugs if the parents come. We've got to enforce it," said Albertha Gary, a relative of Hall.
The investigation continues in this shooting. If you have any information contact police or call CrimeStoppers.
