Museum Opening

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The Georgia Museum of Art will reopen soon ith five special exhibitions after a two-year expansion and renovation project.

The museum at the University of Georgia will reopen to the public Jan. 31 with 16,000 square feet of new galleries, an outdoor sculpture garden, an expanded lobby and more storage space.

The new exhibits are "The American Scene on Paper: Prints and Drawings from the Schoen Collection"; "Tradition Redefined: The Larry and Brenda Thompson Collection of African American Art"; "Stone and Steel: Small Works by Beverly Pepper"; "Horizons"; and an installation by artist Anthony Goicolea.
