Earnest Daise is sitting in jail after learning the death penalty will be sought in his case. Daise is accused of killing his girlfriend and her 4-year-old son in November 2009. Solicitor Duffy Stone explained how the case meets the criteria for seeking the death penalty. Evan Johnson has the story.

The list of candidates for the Savannah city manager job is expected to be narrowed down to two -- possibly by Wednesday.

A petition, which has its own Facebook page, is requesting that interim city manager Rochelle Small-Toney not be considered for the permanent city manager job. Don Logana has details.
