New concerns raised about riverwalk extension

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Riverwalk extension might not be as structurally sound as investors might want.

In a report released to Savannah City Council members on Wednesday, engineers found that parts of the project are not stable and could cause structural failures.

The City Council plans to review the concerns. The city's already spent about $2 million, with plans to finish within the next two years.
