SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah Technical College certainly has reason to celebrate since 100 percent of their cosmetology students passed the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology exam for 2010.
Fifty-two students took the two part test comprised of practical and theory portions. The department head Kimberly Cutter-Williams says she's really proud of her students and staff for working so hard.
"All the instructors work really really hard to get the students at that point and they do very well they are successful when they go out into the work force they are able to obtain jobs and secure employment immediately," said Cutter-Williams.
Savannah Tech also just started a barber program as well. For more information, visit www.savannahtech.edu.
