SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Over the weekend, South Magazine celebrated its five years in publication at the Jepson Center for the Arts. The birthday party was intended to thank the people who supported South Magazine through its formative years, but turned into a celebration of the magazine's place in the creative coast.
"South brings a certain level of excitement to Savannah, its pzazz," said Peter Nelson of Savannah. "He's done it, five years later it should be a national magazine and it will be someday."
The party was also the occasion for the unveling of South Magazine's new edition, the faces of the south. It's a collection of dazzling photography and design completely true to South Magazine's first five years.
