SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Students at Blessed Sacrament are learning healthy habbits while raising money for the American Heart Association.
It's a cause one student holds very near and dear to their heart.
"I've had heart surgery. I had two holes in my heart when I was born so it's really special to me and I get to be with my friends," said fourth grader Emily Trammell.
Last year the students at Blessed Sacrament raised $12,000 dollars during Jump Rope for Heart and they hope to raise even more this year.
