SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Lots of people got out to enjoy the weather and taking advantage of all the art and history Savannah has to offer on Sunday, and they did it for free!
It's part of Super Museum Sunday, where folks could visit any of the Hostess City's many museums free of charge.
The museums do this once a year in hopes of drawing in new visitors, young and old.
Steven High, director and CEO of Telfair Museums says, "we hope they'll come back. Our exhibitions change every few months. So there's always something constantly new going on here at the museums."
High said they usually have around 500 people visit on any given Sunday, but this Sunday, they had more than 3700 people walk through the Telfair Museum.
