Registering memories of Uga VIII

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Fox and Weeks have placed the guest registry books for Uga VIII inside both of their chapels to honor the University of Georgia mascot who died last Friday.

Georgia fans can sign the books and leave a note a sympathy for the Seiler family, who has owned all eight UGA's.

The books will remain out for about a week and then they will be presented to the Seilers.

"We do this not just for the Seiler family but for the Bulldog Nation and they're able to share that and we think it's very cathartic for the both of them," said Jim Weeks, Fox and Weeks. "Joy shared is joy increased and grief shared is grief diminished. So what we've done is give that Bulldog Nation a chance to come by and just share that grief.

The Fox and Weeks chapels are located at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive and at 4605 Highway 80 on Whitemarsh Island.
