EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - It's a wreck even seasoned officers said looked impossible to survive.
A pickup truck slammed head on into a semi and not only did the driver live, but Antwan Wright is out of the hospital and almost back to normal.
"I know it was a miracle. I would have been dead if it wasn't for God," Wright said.
Wright was on his way home from work on Friday driving down Highway 80 in Effingham County.
"I was blasting my Gospel music and then it happened. That is all I remember," Wright said.
Wright's pickup slammed head on into a big rig. The pickup was torn apart.
"I was looking around my truck seeing that everything was gone except for my seatbelt and the seat. The seat was still in there holding me," Wright said.
Wright was rushed to Memorial University Medical Center, where he says doctors had to pop his hip back into place.
But besides that, he had no other injuries.
"It was not just good or bad luck because if it was I wouldn't be here. I don't have good luck. I know it was God that saved me," Wright said.
Wright says he will do physical therapy for a couple of weeks before going back to work.
The driver of the tractor trailer also escaped with minor injuries.
