SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Real Food Film Festival starts Thursday and will run a film each week until March 3.
It aims to educate the audience about where their food comes from as well as the human and environmental impacts, according to the Savannah Urban Garden Alliance.
The festival films are: Dirt, Fresh, Fridays at the Farm and Ingredients. Screenings will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays from Feb. 10 to March 3 at the Telfair Academy.
A panel discussion on the themes from the films with policy makers, food producers, nutritionists, and other food related professionals, will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 10.
There will be food themed art activities for children, provided by Jepson staff, who will entertain and educate children during all film screenings. Healthy snacks will be provided by Brighter Day.
