Truck driver smashes police car on Dean Forest Road

GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) - A police cruiser was left pretty banged up after it slammed into an Aaron's delivery truck Monday.

Garden City police say the truck driver was crossing over Dean Forest Road, right in the path of the police car.

Police say the officer didn't have time to stop and slammed into the truck.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital and will be ticketed.

The officer was not injured.
