Shots fired at car overnight

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A boy is injured when shots are fired on the car he was riding in early Tuesday morning in downtown Savannah.

Savannah-Chatham Metro police say a man and his stepson were traveling on Bryan Street at the intersection of Fahm Street, when shots were fired. That caused the man to crash his car into another vehicle.

The child was transported to the hospital with an injury to the head from broken glass and possibly from bouncing around in the car during the wreck. The man was not injured.

No arrests have been made, and police aren't sure if this shooting was random.
