SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The city of Savannah has more questions to answer from the Georgia Attorney General's Office. The attorney general said the city must submit more documentation and public records in regards to a meeting held with city manager candidates on Jan. 18.
Aldermans Tony Thomas and Jeff Felser both contacted the attorney general to inform them the city did not send everything, and that the meeting was held in violation of open records act.
Alderman Van Johnson disagrees.
"The reality is everyone was in that session. Everyone took part in the session and now they are raising objections to it. It just seems kind of strange," Johnson said.
