Brush fire breaks out near Georgetown

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) – Smoke is drifting across a neighborhood near Georgetown in Chatham County. Southside firefighters are working to put out a brush fire near the intersection of Highway 204 and King George Boulevard.

About two acres have burned. There is no word on what may have started the blaze, but WTOC has a crew on the scene and will have more information coming up on, and on The News at Eleven.
