SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – Kindergarten students at Calvary Day School put on their scarves and mittens to enjoy some snow and even make some snow angels. It was part of their annual snow day, when students learn about winter weather. Since snow isn't truly falling in Savannah, the snow flurries were made possible by using shredded paper.

"Making snow angels, throwing snow balls at the teachers. The most important part about Kindergarten is hands on learning, and you don't get more hands on than snow balls," said Kindergarten teacher Patty Cannady.

Kennickell Printing donated 240 pounds of paper in order to make snow day possible.
