Jasper Animal Rescue Mission hires new executive director

RIDGELAND, SC (WTOC) – The Jasper Animal Rescue Mission has hired Scott Holloway as its new executive director.

Holloway was most recently the shelter manager at the Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care, in Houston.

He also owned and operated a pet care facility Chateau du Chien for 16 years, and is one of fewer than 150 Certified Kennel Operators worldwide. He is also a Practical Animal Behaviorist and Dog Whisperer.

Hollowey penned the weekly newspaper column Petcertera for the Bradenton Herald, Bradenton, Fla., for eight years. He also served on the Bradenton Animal Control Advisory Board for 10 years.
