JESUP, GA (WTOC) - Parents were fighting mad Tuesday about a high school band director they think needs to keep her job.
Elizabeth Taylor spent the last 16 years educating Wayne County High School students, when she was suddenly let go.
Parents and former students want answers and the school board has yet to give them any.
"You guys, I know that you are trying to do the will of the taxpayers, you're trying to do what is best for these students. I can promise you, that pulling Mrs. Taylor out of Wayne County High School is not what's best for these students," said parent Dana Kopecinski.
Even after Tuesday night's support, the school board still hasn't said what Taylor's future might be.
WTOC will let you know what they decide.
