City starts work on Tricentennial Plan

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Metropolitan Planning Commission starting work on Savannah's Tricentennial Plan. They want to hear what you're worried about over the next two plus decades, especially when it comes to climate change.

"If we build a road near an ocean, should we build that road at all? Because of the potential for it to be flooded someday? Or do we need to build it higher in anticipation of higher sea levels?", said Tom Thomson, the executive eirector of the planning commission.

Volunteers are helping the MPC revise the plan. They'll take it to city and county leaders in a few months. WTOC will keep you posted on updates.
