SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Georgia Dept. of Transportation will be closing two ramps Saturday at the Interstate 95-Interstate 16 interchange.
The Interstate southbound Exit 99B to Interstate 16 westbound on Saturday and the I-16 westbound exit 157B ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 26, weather permitting.
Contractors for the Georgia DOT will be doing asphalt pavement work for the I-95/I-16 Interchange entrance and exit ramps.
Detours in place from the Georgia DOT:
I-95 Southbound Exit 99B Ramp to I-16 West:
Drivers should take Exit 102/US 80/SR 26/Louisville Road.
Exit ramp; the turn left onto U.S. 80/S.R. 26/Louisville Road. and travel approximately 3 miles; then turn right onto S.R. 307/Dean Forest Rd.
Drive approximately 2 miles to the 1-16 Interchange.
I-16 Eastbound Exit 157B to I-95 North:
Drivers should continue past the I-16/I-95 interchange and take the Exit 160/SR 307/ Dean Forest Road exit ramp.
Turn left onto S.R. 307/Dean Forest Rd. and travel approximately 3 miles.
Turn left onto US 80/SR 26/Louisville Road. and travel approximately 2 miles to the I-95 interchange.
