Low-cost pet vaccine clinic coming up

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A low-cost pet vaccine clinic will be held March 9 and 23 to benefit pet rescue agencies.

Dr. J. Stanley Lester of Landmark Veterinary Services and TailsSpin will be offering the clinic for students, seniors and members of the military.  It takes place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

In March, the clinic will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. March 9 and March 23.  Registration will start at 4:45 p.m.

The cost for each vaccination is $12, and $2 from each vaccination to be donated to Savannah Pet Rescue Agencies. The event will take place at TailsSpin, in the Habersham Village Shopping Center, on the corner of Habersham and East 61st streets.

Services are offered on a cash only and first-come, first-served basis. Pet owners are asked to bring valid IDs and limit themselves to a 2-pet maximum per person. Office visit fees won't be charged. 

The low-cost vaccination clinic will offer these vaccinations: Rabies $12;  Dstemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus:  $12; Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia:  $12; Bordetella vaccination: $12; Leukemia vaccination: $12.
