Reward Increased in Savannah Armed Robbery

A Savannah businessman has added $1,000 to the reward for information leading to the arrest of an armed robbery suspect. Take a look at this picture of the suspect taken Friday, August 1. Around 9pm that night, the man walked into the 7-11 Minit store at 53rd and Waters with a towel over his face. He demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint the clerk gave him the cash drawer, from which the man took an undisclosed amount of money.

The same thing happened last Friday about 4pm. Witnesses say the same man came in, robbed the store, then broke out the front door glass when employees locked the automatic door.

With the additional $1,000 the reward is now up to $3,500. Call CrimeStoppers at 234-2020 if you have any information.
