Mighty Eighth welcomes restored fire truck

POOLER, GA (WTOC) - History comes to life everyday at the Might Eighth Airforce Museum and on Monday the museum welcomed a fully restored 1941 military fire truck. The fire truck resembles what would have been stationed at Hunter Army Airfield during World War II.

Thanks to the help of Third Infantry Division Brigadier General Jeffrey Phillips and his crew who helped fully restore the piece of history for all to enjoy.

The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information online, visit www.mightyeighth.org.
