SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Savannah Children's Choir will honor recipients of the One Small Voice award.
Jim Kluttz, Dottie Kluttz and Dr. Felix Maher will receive awards in a ceremony that takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at JCB in Pooler.
The annual award ceremony and concert honors unsung heroes in our community who have made a difference in the lives of children.
The Kluttzes will be honored for their work developing a grant program members of the Savannah Children's Choir, and their work with Hospice Savannah and with historic preservation projects on Tybee Island. Dr. Felix Maher will be honored for setting up a dental clinic for low-income children who might not otherwise have access to preventative dental services.
The event includes an award ceremony and a concert by the Savannah Children's Choir, followed by a cocktail reception.
