SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Two women and a toddler have been taken to Memorial after being hit by a SUV in downtown Savannah.
It happened at the intersection of Gaston and Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. The women and the toddler were taken to the hospital to be checked out because they were complaining of some pain, but police say they were talking and moving around.
Police say the women weren't in a crosswalk and walked out in front of an SUV being driven by a 90-year-old man. Fortunately the driver of the SUV wasn't speeding, in fact police say he was turning and traveling at a low speed.
Police want to remind people to be careful, and stay in crosswalks.
