Savannah man wins $200K Powerball prize

ATLANTA –Gordon Varnedoe, former director of the Savannah Waterfront Association matched the first five winning numbers from the Feb. 26 drawing, winning a $200,000 prize, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The winning Quik Pik Powerball ticket was bought at Parker's at 1976 E. Victory Dr. in Savanna. The winning numbers from the Feb. 26 drawing were: 4-13-17-21-45 and the Powerball was 10. 

The $200,000 Powerball prize was Varnedoe's second win. He won a $10,000 Mega Millions prize in 2007, according to the Georgia Lottery. 

He plans to share his winnings with family.
