SCAD makes list of top video game design schools

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Savannah College of Art and Design made the Princeton Review's second annual list of top schools in the U.S. and Canada for video game design studies.

SCAD's interactive design and game development graduate degree program ranked No. 8, and the undergraduate degree program earned an honorable mention.

Princeton Review's list, Top Schools for Video Game Design Study for 2011, includes 30 education institutions, 15 undergraduate and 15 graduate.

The Princeton Review's list was based on a survey of administrators at 150 institutions that offer ideo game design coursework and/or degrees in the United States and Canada.

"The SCAD interactive design and game development department is honored to be considered among such good company," said Luis Cataldi, program chair in a statement. "We take pride in our students, faculty, academic initiatives and strong ties to industry that make us a leader in this rapidly evolving field."
