Group eats chocolates for good cause

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction or NAWIC came together for food and fellowship at Lulu's Chocolate Bar Monday.

It's a chance to meet members, but they're donating 15 percent of all the profits from Monday night to local girl scouts.

"We are going to try and work with them on some construction projects. They've got some things going on at Camp Low and we as women feel that it's important to help girls learn construction skills," said Amanda Montford, President of NAWIC of Coastal Georgia.

It was the first of many other events NAWIC has in store for the celebration of women in construction week, which ends Saturday.
