SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Lady Cavaliers of Calvary Day are back in the GHSA Class-A Final 4 in Macon where they won the state title 3 years ago.

The Lady Cavs are making a habit of going deep into the playoffs every season, and now have a chance to win it all again. The Lady Cavs will face perennial power Wesleyan Wednesday afternoon, and the players know they are facing a tough test.

This is a young team without a senior on the roster and they will be returning with a lot of experience picked up this season. "We have a lot of juniors and I guess now they're not so young because they've had a whole season," said Coach Jackie Hamilton. "They've done a great job maturing as the season goes by. Even though we don't have any seniors we still expect a lot out of them."

"We've got good team chemistry, and this team, we have a whole other year together and we'll be even better next year," added point guard Rachel LeGear.

Tipoff will be at 4:00 Wednesday afternoon and WTOC will have highlights on The News at 6:00.
