Safe Kids Savannah accepting donations for fundraiser

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Safe Kids Savannah will be accepting donations for their yard sale fundraiser. The yard sale will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 19 at the Lake Mayer pavillion.

Items can dropped off from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18 at the Chatham County Health Department on Eisenhower Drive. The Health Department is asking those donating to enter through the Sallie Mood Drive side.

"Last year's yard sale was a huge success and we expect this year's event to be even better," said Safe Kids Savannah Coordinator Alison Gramza in a news release. "The items donated for our yard sale will help generate funds to continue important programs aimed at preventing accidental childhood injury."

Safe Kids Savannah is local coalition of organization with the common goal of preventing accidental childhood injury. It is led by the Chatham County Health Department. For more information online, visit
