SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Gwinnett County police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting at a 16th birthday party that injured five teens last month.
Police said Friday that 17-year-old Kempton Greaves and 21-year-old Luis Borrero have been charged with the Feb. 19 incident.
Police say Greaves was fighting with someone at the Snellville house party when he fired a gun into the air. Police say Borrero took the gun and fired several rounds into the house, hitting five people.
Police say Borrero is charged with five counts of aggravated assault, three counts of cruelty to children, one count of burglary and one count of firing a gun while intoxicated. Police say Greaves is charged with discharging a firearm near a roadway.
All shooting victims were treated and released from the hospital.
