Red Cross is painting the town red

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The American Red Cross is painting the town red. For the next couple of days they will be tying red ribbons on store fronts like Wells Fargo, Savannah Bank and South Magazine in support of the Red Cross. The ribbons costs $94 for the 94 years the Savannah Red Cross has been serving the community.

"They mean Red Cross and also it gives a splash of red throughout a very green time. You'll see it come right after St. Patty's Day," said Cecilia Russo, American Red Cross. "We will change Savannah from St. Pat's green to Red Cross Red."

March is Red Cross month. Visit to donate.
