ATLANTA (AP) - Heavy rain moved across north Georgia, and early commuters faced rainfall amounts of up to half an inch in metro Atlanta along with winds of up to 15 mph.
Heavier rain was reported in northwest Georgia Tuesday morning.
The rain is expected to continue through the morning and diminish later in the day. The National Weather Service says thunderstorms are possible.
Dry weather is forecast to return on Wednesday. High temperatures are forecast to be generally in the 60s on Tuesday and warming up later in the week.
