AAA, Budweiser aims to keep drivers safe during holiday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - AAA Auto Club South and Budweiser are holding a news conference Wednesday morning at Savannah's waterfront to remind drivers of two roadside services being offered during the St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Tow to Go and the Green Response Team will be offered to drivers from to March 17 to 20. Tow to Go is available throughout the state of Georgia and the Green Response Team is available to those participating in Savannah's St. Patrick's Day festivities.

This will be the third time the Green Response Team will be in Savannah. They will be on Segway to help drivers with services such as auto lockouts, flat tires, jump starts, on March 17 to 20 around the riverfront area in Savannah. Drivers can call 877.222.7111.

Tow to Go offers impaired drivers a safe ride home. The program has removed more than 13,500 potential drunk drivers from roadways since it started in 1998, according to AAA.
