SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah City Council is meeting right now. Out of that meeting it may be learned whether Rochelle Small-Toney will accept the contract for the city manager job.
In a final vote last week, the City Council again agreed to officially offer the job to acting city manager Small-Toney. But she still has to accept the offer and sign a contract. Her salary would be $195,000 per year and by city charter it only lasts through this year.
WTOC have a crew in that meeting and will have what comes out of that meeting later on THE news.
The City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 2 p.m. At that meeting, they are scheduled to discuss the proposal to transport LNG through Savannah city streets.
