SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Heavy rain brought flooding to parts of Savannah, but help is on the way.
The Savannah City Council agreed to move forward with a plan to improve the drainage situation in Baldwin Park and nearby neighborhoods. The city will spend about $65,000 on the improvements.
Alderwoman Mary Osborne says flooding is impossible to stop completely, but is hopeful these improvements will help.
