SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – Islands High School students will be learning about safe driving Tuesday at the Operation Drive Smart Expo.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police and Duluth Police Department C.O.P.S Division are hosting the event, which is made possible through a grant from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety. The Duluth Police Department travels around the state with the Operation Drive Smart Expo.
The Drive Smart Expo has stations including the Seatbelt Rollover Simulator and DUI Golf Cart, Chatham County Fire Department, Georgia State Patrol Safety Education Unit, the Georgia Motor Trucking Association, and Emory Flight/Rescue Air.
The expo takes place from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Islands High School.
