GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) - Some sweeping changes are coming to Groves High School.
After four years on the needs improvement list for Adequate Yearly Progress, Superintendent Thomas Lockamy has decided to reorganize Groves High School.
No more than 49 percent of those currently employed at Groves can remain there next year.
This isn't new to Lockamy or the system. The same approach was taken with Beach High School and Barlett Middle School.
"Hopefully, I won't have to make those decisions," Lockamy said.
The principal of Groves High School has until April 5 to choose which employees to keep. All those not kept can start looking for new jobs within the district by April 12.
