Students accepted into police cadet program

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Cadet Program has new inductees.

Fourteen sophomores and juniors from the School of Law & Criminal Justice were inducted on March 3.

"We are extremely pleased about this new partnership and the opportunities that it affords the students in the School of Law & Criminal Justice.  We know they will benefit greatly from the mentoring they receive through this excellent program," said principal Gloria Dukes in a statement.

These students were accepted into the Police Explorers Cadet Program: Kadejah Rosier, Chynna Davis, Katie Mayers, Carter Kelly, Zhane Richardson, Chris Crawford, Crystal Bridges, Justin Patrick, Andres Tyler, William Lonon, Tyran Brown, Jovante Spivey, Jessica Stich, and Cameron Solomon.

Exploring is a subsidiary of Boy Scouts of America and is co-educational youth program for character and career development.
