SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The third season of the Forsyth Farmers' Market kicks off Saturday and runs through Nov. 19.
The market takes place on the south end of Forsyth Park near the tennis courts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine, every Saturday. It includes farmers, ranchers and local food producers.
SNAP/EBT cards are accepted for all food items and food bearing plants and WIC Farmers' Market benefits are accepted by Oak Tree Farm. Those with SNAP/EBT cards are eligible for double value due to a grant from Wholesome Wave Georgia.
The farmer's market is organized by the Savannah Local Food Collaborative.
