SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A first ever silent auction Thursday night helped raised money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Most of the money raised will stay right here in the Lowcountry to help the fight against breast cancer.
Friday night's auction definitely grew from it's original intention.
"When I first started this, I thought we would, you know, have 10 or 12 auction pieces. We actually ended up with over 35. So it's blown up a little bit bigger than we'd anticipated," said Kiley Sheppard.
There was a lot of great items to choose from, but the big event is just a few weeks away.
The Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure steps off April 16th and WTOC is a proud sponsor.
