SCAD graduate is finalist in NASA song competition

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah College of Art and Design is announcing that alum Ryan E. McCullough has been named a top 10 finalist in NASA's Space Rock competition. McCullough graduated from SCAD with a B.F.A. Sound Design in 2011.

His work was selected from 1,350 songs submitted.

The public has been invited to vote for their favorite original song to wake up space shuttle Commander Mark Kelly and his five memeber crew during their mission to the International Space Station.

The two songs with the most votes will be the first original songs chosen by the public to be played for the crew. Voting ends April 19. To vote and for contest info, visit
