GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) - Garden City leaders met with residents of Silk Hope and Salt Creek Roads Monday night at city hall.
The residents say the nearby Progressive Recreation Center has loud events, with bass blasting from speakers so loudly they rattle houses blocks away.
The residents brought an attorney and said if something's not done, they'll sue.
Mayor Tennyson Holder hopes they'll resolve the dispute without going to court.
"It's not going to be an overnight deal, it's going to take us some time to work through this. But we'll get this resolved, and hopefully everybody will be happy with the situation," said Mayor Holder.
The Progressive Rec Center said they'll keep things indoors until the city comes up with a solution.
